GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College, affiliated to the University of Mysore, founded and managed by GSSS(R), was established in the year 1991 by a visionary academic leader, Prof. B.S. Pandit. Presently, a highly dedicated office bearers of the management are steering the institution with a clear cut vision to make it a remarkable institution in the heritage city of Mysore.

GSSS SSFGC is a co-education college set in a large sprawling green campus on KRS road, intertwined with GSSS Engineering college which has the distinction of being the first engineering college for women in Karnataka.
